Alfred Daguet Dated 1907 Art Nouveau Repousse Jeweled Metal Leather Box

Description

This is a beautiful and extremely rare Alfred Daguet (1875-1942) metal and jeweled Art Nouveau box.
The box has an amazing detailed repousse design of mythological animals and snakes. The box is made of repousse copper metal and wood.
The glass jewels are all original and intact.
The interior of the box has the original leather liner. The box comes with the key and the latch secures tightly. This is one of the finest examples of his work we have seen. Signed Alfred Daguet Paris dated 1907. In excellent condition with minor wear to the underside.
