    Description

    Genuine Peter Vitalie Company pool table. Known for Old World craftsmanship, accuracy, stability, and unyielding strength, Peter Vitalie billiard tables are considered to be among the finest quality available -- promising a quiet game on a solid foundation.  They are also an attractive addition to your home featuring exquisite detail.
    This 8' pool table is suitable for professionals. The frame is quadbeam construction giving it added stability. The three pieces of slate are intact. While the industry standard is 3/4" slate, the slate for this pool table is 1", used by professionals and recognized by the Billiard Conference of America as the most accurate. The legs are industry standard, two-piece legs attached to the cabinet with single anchor assembly.  The felt is in good shape.
    The pool table comes with five pool cues, rack, triangle and billiard balls.
    Peter Vitalie Company is now out of business and there is a limited supply of these authentic pool tables available. It was donated to the Darien Scouts by a local family who purchased the table new during the 1990's. It was little used. This family generously had the table professionally disassembled, packaged, and crated for donation to the Scouts. It is available for local pick up only.
