This Antique is from the late 1800's hanging tea pot with warmer on a standby Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company of Meriden, Connecticut. Mold number 1694 and B & H logo on the bottom.
The teapot has a black wooden handle, the underside has a worn spot & and some black is missing, and the lid has a black wooden knob.
Brass burner is missing the black wood handle that turns a gear for opening and closing the lid on the fire to adjust the heat.
It has two dents in the tea pot that could possibly be pounded out from the inside.
I haven’t polished it because I love the patina!
Beautiful teapot and stand, created by Bradley& Hubbard Mfg. Co. in New England. I have been told the stand could possibly be brass-plated iron because of the B & H Stamp, with signs of wear; measures 14"high. The teapot knob and handle are of ebony wood.Burner in the center to keep the teapot warm, shows some corrosion of the brass screen. Teapot could be brass with tin lining; has two small dents. One shallow linear dent in the top shoulder of the pot, which stands 7.5"h to the top of the bail handle. Sold as is. Email if further info is needed.
It would date from the c1880s-90s. It is in the good original found condition with wear appropriate with the age and use.
