CHASE BRASS & COPPER DECO CANDY DISH, BLACK

Description

This candy dish was a favorite with Chase customers, as it was marketed from 1933 to 1941 in a variety of finishes, mostly brass and copper variations. This one is the black nickel version, the only one we have ever seen. The glass liner is present and in perfect condition. There are no dents to the flanged rim of the base, although there are some scratches, and slight
to the surface, and the black color is slight ‘two toned’ as you can see in the photos. The cover has the normal fruit cluster handle, and the overall surface of the top is in excellent condition. On the sides there are some slightly rough spots but no dents. It is marked on the bottom with the older larger Chase mark.
