Handsome Gilt bronze Italian Grand Tour Warwick vase ,  no marks, in great condition, wear on bronze due to age.
The 19th-century beauty from an original Roman marble vase, which was discovered in Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli by Gavin Hamilton, in 1771.
The beauty of this vase became a symbol of roman art, and one of the mesmerizing treasures of the Grand Tour Period.
Richly decorated with Bacchic ornaments, grape leaves at top, scrolled arms representing vine stock, great condition.
Overall dimensions height 5.5" , 8" wide  Weighs 5 lbs 6 oz.
