He received his training at the Dresden School of Applied Arts from Euler, Erler and Gross, and his breakthrough came with Schlüter's bookplate competition in 1919. A sheet is bought, which brings him numerous orders. The climax of his ex-libris work is 1923 with 101 documented sheets. - Minimally stained.
