    Another interesting servants call button from a large Massachusetts collection. This Eight-Sided call button is made of some type of stone... possibly a dark green jade for the base and green jade button? 2" wide x 2 1/2" long. Original gold silk cord (just barely hanging in there!) with rubber or gutta percha plug that I originally mistook for wood. This piece is very early, probably from a New England  mansion house. Superb condition.
