PAIR OF 2 DIFFERENT 1948 WAR PALESTINE BONDS!
These very unusual and extremely historic bonds were issued during the first Arab-Israel War in 1948 which erupted due to the declaration of the State of Israel! It was issued in Egypt and features the portrait of then King Farouk, one of the most famous rulers of the 20th Century! (note the Crescent and Star symbols flanking his portrait).
You will receive one green 50 Piastres Bond and one sepia tone or copper tone £10 bond! Serial numbers may vary.
The bonds read "SAVE PALESTINE" in Arabic.
