They didn't come out when I hand-washed the shorts. Overall in excellent condition--no stains, no rips, no holes, no snags--elastic is strong and stretchy.

    The material is a really nice lightweight 100% nylon tricot.
    Built-in underpants with pocket are also nylon tricot.
    Size/Measurements: Labeled size M (vintage size) -- please refer to measurements to determine fit.
